Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - The Cleveland Browns have ruled out rookie
linebacker Barkevious Mingo for Sunday's season opener against Miami.
The Plain Dealer reported the news Friday, citing Browns head coach Rob
Chudzinski saying the bruised lung Mingo suffered in the preseason was the
Mingo, the sixth overall pick in this year's draft, left an Aug, 15 exhibition
game against the Detroit Lions with the injury. He was hospitalized
for two days before being released.
