MINNEAPOLIS -- Christian Ponder is back at starting quarterback for the 1-5 Vikings, who host Green Bay tonight in a renewal of their NFC North rivalry.

Josh Freeman took the last turn on the carousel, but after his rough performance on Monday night he reported concussion-like symptoms.

The best game of Ponder's NFL career came against the Packers last year, a victory by the Vikings to finish the regular season and reach the playoffs.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has feasted on the Vikings in the recent past.

In his last seven starts against Minnesota, Rodgers has 2,106 yards, 19 TDs with just three interceptions, and a 72.1 completion percentage.
