Eden Prairie, MN (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Vikings retained the
services of quarterback Sage Rosenfels, signing him to a one-year contract on
Tuesday.
Rosenfels, an 11-year NFL veteran, was waived by the Miami Dolphins in
late November without playing a game, and picked up by Minnesota on December
2, one day after the Vikings released Donovan McNabb.
In 44 NFL games on the rosters of five teams, Rosenfels has passed for 4,156
yards, 30 touchdowns and 29 interceptions.
