The Minnesota Wild have agreed to terms with Chay Genoway on a two-year deal.
The former University of North Dakota defensemen spent nearly all of last season with the Houston Aeroes, the Wild's American Hockey League affiliate, before being recalled to Minnesota.
Genoway made his NHL debut in the Wild's last game of the season against the Phoenix Coyotes on April 7, 2012, recording one assist in that game.
Genoway joins forwards Matt Kassian, Chad Rau and Stephane Veilleux to resign with the Wild this week.
