MANKATO, Minn. - The Minnesota Vikings hit the field in Mankato Monday for the first time in full pads.
The team has a walk-through at 10:30 a.m. and then a full pads practice at 2:45 p.m.
Training camp is extended by a week this year, wrapping up on August 15. For a full list of practice times click here.
There is also more time to get an autograph this year at the "Autograph Zone." Select players will be there 25 minutes every day, that's five more minutes than years past. For those times click here.
KARE 11's Bryan Piatt spent the morning in Mankato, talking to new Vikings General Manager Rick Spielman about the season ahead.
It's estimated that training camp brings $5 million to Mankato every Summer. Restaurants Tav on the Ave, Pub 500 and Weggy's showed off some of their dishes live on KARE 11 Sunrise.
