Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike
Wallace plans to show up in Pittsburgh this weekend and sign his restricted
free agent tender, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Wallace, who has been holding out for a long-term extension, will earn $2.742
million in 2012 if he signs his tender.
With Wallace absent, the Steelers inked fellow wide receiver Antonio Brown to
a five-year, $42.5 million extension.
Wallace, 26, caught 72 passes for 1,193 yards and eight touchdowns last season
after grabbing 60 balls for 1,257 yards and 10 scores the year before. He is
going into his fourth season.
