Renton, WA (Sports Network) - Russell Wilson will start at quarterback for
the Seattle Seahawks in their third preseason game Friday against the Kansas
City Chiefs.
The third-round draft pick out of Wisconsin has completed 22-of-33 passes for
279 yards with three touchdowns and one interception this preseason.
"I'm excited to see how he does playing with the first unit," Carroll said.
"He's done a very nice job throughout and we think it's warranted."
Free-agent pickup Matt Flynn had started the two previous exhibition contests.
