Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Matt Dominguez hit a three-run homer to
power the Houston Astros to a 5-1 win over the Cincinnati Reds in the rubber
match of a three-game set.
Fernando Martinez had a sacrifice fly and scored a run for Houston, which had
lost four of its last six coming in.
Edgar Gonzalez (2-0) struck out six and allowed a run on two hits and a walk
in five innings to earn the win.
National League Cy Young candidate Johnny Cueto (17-8) has lost back-to-backs
starts for the first time since the All-Star break. He fanned six, but
surrendered four runs on nine hits and a walk over four frames for the Reds,
who have lost five of their last eight games.
Jay Bruce tallied two hits, including an RBI triple, in defeat.
