Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Jimmy Rollins homered and drove in three
runs to lead the Philadelphia Phillies to a 9-7 win over the Miami Marlins on
Tuesday night.
Juan Pierre had three hits, scored twice and knocked in one and Chase Utley
reached base five times and had an RBI for the Phillies, who have won six
straight to reach .500 for the first time since June 4.
Roy Halladay (10-7) allowed five runs on seven hits and struck out six over 6
1/3 innings to earn his fourth win in five starts.
Jonathan Papelbon worked a perfect ninth to pick up his 33rd save of the
season.
Justin Ruggiano went 2-for-4 with two RBI and Giancarlo Stanton homered for
the Marlins, who have dropped nine of their last 13.
Nathan Eovaldi (4-12) gave up five runs on eight hits and struck out three
over four-plus innings to absorb the loss.
