Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Oakland Athletics outfielder Yoenis
Cespedes left Thursday's matchup with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim with a
sprained right wrist.
Cespedes injured his wrist in the fourth inning when he slid into second base
trying to break up a double-play ground out by Brandon Moss.
The 27-year-old stayed in to play the field in the bottom half, but was
replaced by Chris Carter in the following inning.
Cespedes entered Thursday's contest batting .287 with 18 home runs and 68 RBI
over 109 games during his rookie campaign.
