San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - Jesus Guzman went 2-for-4 with a three-run
homer to lead the San Diego Padres to a 4-3 triumph over the Colorado Rockies
on Saturday.
Andy Parrino went 2-for-3 with an RBI double and Logan Forsythe had two hits
and scored a run for the Padres, winners in five of their last six.
Casey Kelly (2-1) earned the win after giving up three runs -- two earned --
on seven hits over six-plus innings.
Luke Gregerson worked a perfect ninth to earn his eighth save of the year.
Chris Nelson went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and Charlie Blackmon had two hits
and knocked in a run for the Rockies, who have dropped eight of their last 10.
Drew Pomeranz (1-9) lasted just three innings after giving up four runs on
four hits.
