Arlington, TX (Sports Network) - Saturday's game between the Los Angeles
Angels of Anaheim and Texas Rangers has been postponed due to inclement
weather.
The game will be made up on Sunday as part of a day-night doubleheader. The
start time of Sunday's regularly-scheduled contest has been moved up two hours
to 1:05 p.m.(ET). The second game will start at 7:05 p.m. (ET).
The Angels are currently 2 1/2 games behind the Oakland Athletics for the
second and final wild card spot in the American League. The A's rallied to
beat the Seattle Mariners in 10 innings Saturday,
Texas has a magic number of three to win the AL West. The Rangers are 2 1/2
games ahead of the Athletics.
Sunday will mark the first home split doubleheader in Rangers history.
