Phils down reeling Marlins, snap skid

Miami, FL (Sports Network) - Carlos Ruiz had two hits and two RBI and Chase Utley knocked in three and scored twice to lead the Philadelphia Phillies to a 9-5 win over the Miami Marlins on Saturday.

Pete Orr had a pair of RBI and Jimmy Rollins had three hits and scored three times for the Phillies, who snapped a three-game skid.

Roy Halladay (11-8) gave up four runs on six hits and struck out seven over five innings.

Mike Stanton went 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBI and Rob Brantly drove in a run for the Marlins, who have dropped eight of nine and 10 of their last 12.

Ricky Nolasco (12-13) allowed five runs on nine hits and struck out four over five innings to absorb the loss.
