Hidalgo, TX (Sports Network) - Terrence Jones scored 20 points to help the
Houston Rockets hold off the Oklahoma City Thunder, 107-105, in preseason
action.
Jeremy Lamb posted 12 points and eight rebounds, Kevin Martin had 11 points,
while Chandler Parsons and Patrick Patterson each added 10 points for the
Rockets, who were playing their first game of the preseason.
Russell Westbrook had 19 points, Kevin Durant added 13 points, and Cole
Aldrich posted 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Thunder, who lost to the
Miami Heat in five games in the finals last season.
Jones posted eight of his points in the third quarter as the Rockets, who
trailed by a point after the first half, took an 83-78 lead into the final
quarter.
The Thunder kept it tight for much of the final frame, but were unable to move
ahead as Houston took the win.
