New York, NY (Sports Network) - Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers,
New York Giants safety Antrel Rolle and Detroit Lions kicker Jason Hanson were
recognized as the NFC's top Week 6 performers.
Rodgers took home offensive honors after he completed 24-of-37 passes for 338
yards and six touchdowns in the Packers' 42-24 win at Houston over a
previously undefeated Texans club.
Rolle, the first Giants safety to earn weekly defensive notice since Percy
Ellsworth in 1998, had two interceptions and six tackles for a New York
defense that limited San Francisco to three points.
Special-teams honors went to Hanson, who connected on four field goals,
including a game-winning 45-yarder in overtime, as the Lions rallied for a
26-23 win at Philadelphia. He had forced the extra session by kicking a 19-
yarder with three seconds left in regulation.
