Florham Park, NJ (Sports Network) - The New York Jets announced that
fullback John Conner has been waived due to injury.
"We had an injury settlement with John Conner, which basically doesn't
preclude us from bringing him back at some point," said Jets coach Rex
Ryan at a Wednesday press conference. "But quite honestly, we needed the
Ryan added that the Jets plan to elevate linebacker Marcus Dowtin from the
