Buffalo (1-7, 0-4 MAC) quarterback Alex Zordich, who was taken out of the game
in the third quarter due to injury, completed 5-of-16 passes for 118 yards and
one touchdown. Joe Licata came in for Zordich and completed 5-of-11 passes for
68 yards and one score. Alex Neutz was the leading receiver as he caught six

Dan Molls countered for the Rockets later in the period when he recovered a
fumble and took it 13 yards for a touchdown to tie the game at 7-7.
In the second quarter, Zordich connected with Devin Campbell for a 42-yard
touchdown to put the Bulls up, 14-7, at the break.
In the second half, Toledo put together a quick drive and Fluellen scored on
an eight-yard run, which made the score 14-13, following a blocked extra point
attempt.
The Rockets regained possession and scored when Fluellen punched it in for a
one-yard touchdown, which gave them the lead at 19-14, but again the extra
point was blocked. Owens connected with Alex Zmolik for a seven-yard touchdown
and made the score 25-14 in favor of the visitors, yet once more the extra
point failed.
Licata managed to complete a touchdown pass to Neutz for eight yards, which
made the score 25-20. Licata tried for a two-point conversion but his pass
fell incomplete, leaving the hosts with the five-point loss.
