After Kevin Love's surprise return to the lineup on Wednesday, reporters looking for scoop were quick to ask Minnesota Timberwolves coach Rick Adelman if there were any more surprises in store this week.

His answer was, "No," according to the Minnesota Timberwolves Public Relations Twitter account.

He said that point guard Ricky Rubio, who is rehabbing a torn ACL, would not play on Friday night in Portland, but there was some good news.

Adelman said that Rubio might be able to return to practice after the team's west coast road trip. He said he has a scheduled doctor's appointment next week.

The team's road trip includes games against Portland on Friday, Golden State on Saturday, Sacramento on Tuesday and the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday.

That puts Rubio's potential return to practice sometime after Nov. 28. The Timberwolves host Milwaukee on Nov. 30 at Target Center, but there was no indication when Rubio might return to action.
