Sarah Wilhite - Eden Prairie
ST. PAUL - The Eden Prairie volleyball team won its first ever state volleyball title after beating Lakeville North at the Xcel Energy Center.
Junior outside hitter Sarah Wilhite led the Eagles throughout the state tournament. The 6'1" Wilhite recorded 33 kill shots in the state final match, giving her 80 in three state tournament matches.
Wilhite was named to the Class 3A State Volleyball All Tournament Team.
