MINNEAPOLIS -- St. Croix Lutheran junior Jackson Goplen has a nose for the end zone. On Saturday, he found it three times when it mattered most as his Crusaders defeated Fairmont in the 3A state title game.
Goplen sealed the win late in the 4th quarter with a 36-yard touchdown run, making the score 34-26. He finished with 101-yards rushing and three big touchdowns.
The junior never left the field. He also led St. Croix with eight tackles.
