MINNETONKA, Minn. -- Minnetonka junior Laura Bowman had a big weekend in leading the Skippers to a championship win in the prestigious Kapsoia tournament in South St Paul.
The junior scored six goals and added two assists in victories over Hill-Murray, Roseville, and Warroad, three of Minnesota's better teams.
Watch the pretty pass to Bowman for this goal against Warroad in the championship game. Laura has 17 goals on the season, but this week was her best offensive effort against great competition.
Watch Laura get the goal to put the Skippers ahead 2-1. They now have a 12-3 record and lots of momentum to start the new year, thanks in large part to Bowman.
