MINNEAPOLIS -- Paul Fair is lean and mean when he hits the pool. The Monticello, multi-sport athlete is 6'3", 205 pounds and a dominant swimmer.
The junior set two Class A True Team records on Saturday in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events. His times in both races are the fastest in the state this season, which makes him Minnesota's premier sprinter.
Fair won four gold medals at state last year in other events. He can swim any race he wants, and win.
Paul also anchored a Monticello 200-yard freestyle relay team to victory and a thirt True Team record on Saturday. He'll be one to watch at state in March.
