FRIDLEY, Minn. - Totino-Grace senior guard Sam Meyer set a single game scoring record with 47 points in a game last week.
Sam is a long range shooter, and last Friday, he made 12 of 14 three point shots. At one point, he made eight in a row. It was one of those nights when everything seemed to go in.
The 12 made three point shots in one game is the third best performance ever in Minnesota boys high school basketball. He had a solid week scoring 23 points last Tuesday including the game winning shot against Cooper.
