WAYZATA, Minn -- Her coach says Wayzata sophomore golfer Sarah Burnham is relentless when it comes to practicing her game which explains why she's playing so well right now.
Last week, Sarah shot a 70 at Mississippi National to win the prestigious Red Wing Invitational by one stroke. The event featured many of the best players in the state. Sarah made the turn at 3-under par and finished with a two-under 70. She says she's grown up a lot from last year.
For Sarah it was a winning week. She won medalist honors at the Chaska Invite on Monday, Red Wing on Tuesday, and was co-medalist in a Lake Conference event Wednesday.
