STILLWATER, Minn. - Minnetonka's Jamie Crum led the Skippers to the Class 3A True Team track title Friday night. Jamie tied for first in his specialty - the high jump - with a leap of 6 feet, 6 inches.
He also finished second in his heat of the 300-meter hurdles and placed third overall in the event, in addition to his third place finish in the 110 high hurdles.
Crum also finished fifth in the long jump scoring 99.5 of Minnetonka's 889 points as the Skippers claimed their first boys' True Team title. Crum says this format, where everybody contributes, is what his sport is all about.
Crum has signed with the Gophers for next year.
