MINNEAPOLIS - If you're a Cubs fan and can't make it to Wrigley Field in person, Chicago’s Taste Authority in South Minneapolis just might be the next best thing.
Chicago-style hotdogs served up in a hurry and Wrigley's outfield painted on the wall.
Manager Kevin Livingston says they've seen Cubs fans come through the door at their Minneapolis location on Tuesday.
The same spot he watched the Cubs clinch the pennant on Saturday.
“I worked all day on Saturday and I stayed after work to make sure I could watch the game and didn't miss out on anything on the drive home. It was ecstatic,” Livingston said.
Of course, Minnesota is Twins territory, but Livingston says there are a lot of Cubs fans sprinkled throughout, too.
“I never thought there would be that many Chicago Cubs fans here in the cities, but they're everywhere,” he said.
We even found a Facebook page called “Cubs Fans in Minnesota.” All of them enjoying this magical season.
“We already feel accomplished knowing that this is the first time in 71 years that we've actually made it to a world series,” Livingston said.
