Morneau coming back to Minn. for Home Run Derby

MINNEAPOLIS - Hold the phone! Justin Morneau is coming back to Minnesota for the All Star festivities after all.

That's because his Colorado teammate Troy Tulowitzki added him to the Home Run Derby Roster.

Both leagues got one final addition on Thursday.

And sure enough, even though he's not an All-Star, Morneau will be the National League's final member for the slug-fest.

In the American League, Athletics third baseman Josh Donaldson was the final Home Run Derby selection.

Morneau and Donaldson will join the Twins' Brian Dozier, Tulowitzki, A's Yoenis Cespedes, Dodgers' Yasiel Puig, Marlins' Giancarlo Stanton, Blue Jays' Jose Bautista, Reds' Todd Frazier and Orioles' Adam Jones.

The derby is scheduled for Monday at 7:00 p.m.
