Rubio out with injury, Dunn slated to start

MINNEAPOLIS - Minnesota Timberwolves starting point guard Ricky Rubio is out indefinitely with a sprained right elbow.

Rubdio did not practice on Monday because of the injury he suffered in the second half of Saturday night's loss to the Sacramento Kings.

Rubio is an integral part of a young Wolves team trying to end a 12-year playoff drought. His veteran leadership, passing and defense are needed on a team that has started the season 0-2.

Rookie Kris Dunn is slated to start in the home opener on Tuesday night against Memphis.
