ST. PAUL, Minn. - Prior to the draft, Zach Moore said it would be a dream come true to play in the NFL. On Saturday, he took another step towards making that a reality when he received the phone call from the New England Patriots.
The Patriots selected him with the 22nd pick in the sixth round.
The defensive lineman from Concordia St. Paul said he had received positive feedback leading up to the draft. He said he was excited for the opportunity as well as what getting drafted would mean for the program.
He's also excited to show the NFL that good players can come from anywhere.
