MINNEAPOLIS - The Vikings are testing out a way to ease gridiron gridlock on game days.
The Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority have identified a dedicated skyway route to U.S. Bank Stadium for the next two home games.
The core route will remain open until midnight for the Vikings-Giants game on Monday, October 3, and will open at 9:00 a.m. for the Vikings-Texans game on Sunday, October 9, giving fans yet another arrival and departure option for games. Fans can enter the route via any of the parking ramps along the route.
The route will be evaluated to determine if this is the best solution for Vikings games and other major events at U.S. Bank Stadium moving forward.
