It?s a side of Joe Mauer few have seen to this point.
KARE 11's Randy Shaver spent a week in Fort Myers covering the Twins and during that time, Mauer allowed Randy and a photographer into Mauer's new home for 90-minutes, giving them the grand tour.
Joe Mauer made baseball history in 2006 becoming the first catcher to win the American League batting title. But fans appreciate the way he conducts himself both on & off the field.
So when KARE 11 asked Joe to give us a tour of his new home not far from the ballpark in Florida, he was nothing but Minnesota nice.
