MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Junior running back Evan Schindele had 37 carries for 181 yards and three touchdowns as Stephen-Argyle Central used a record-setting running game to beat Nicollet 37-22 in the Class 9-man state championship.

Senior Jamison St. Germain added 240 total yards and two touchdowns Friday as the Storm won their sixth championship in seven years.

With Schindele and St. Germain leading the way, Stephen-Argyle Central (13-1) set Prep Bowl records for total offense, total rushing attempts and yards, total first downs and first downs rushing. The Storm finished with 616 yards of total offense, 569 coming on the ground.

Nicollet receiver Jamie Fischer had five catches for 103 yards and a touchdown for the Raiders (10-3).
