MINNEAPOLIS - Tickets to Vikings preseason football games this year have been cheap. Some coupon sites have sold them for as low as four dollars.
"Don't panic, that's how every preseason is," chuckles Brian Obert of Ticket King.
Obert says sales will typically pick up after Labor Day, but this year's schedule doesn't have them selling fast.
"In my 15 years, it's one of the worst schedules," he says. "But if the team starts 5-0 the people will jump on the bandwagon."
Tickets remain for every home game this season and will range from 29 dollars to 150 dollars. Vikings officials say tickets sales are "slightly down" and similar to last year at this time. However, Vikings fans probably won't have to worry about a television blackout. The NFL relaxed its rules this year meaning as long as the Vikings sell 90 percent of the game's tickets, the game will air.
