MINNEAPOLIS - The Walker Art Center and 89.3 The Current announced the annual outdoor concert, Rock the Garden, will take place over two days on June 21 and 22 from 3 - 10 p.m.
The event, which draws over 10,000 people each year, will take place on the hill adjacent to the Walker and will feature music from local and national acts.
"As Rock the Garden has grown over the past few years, we've been looking for a way to allow more fans to enjoy the experience – the music, the setting, the feeling of summer lifting off that accompanies each year's show." 89.3 The Current's program director Jim McGuinn said. "We look forward to filling the weekend with artists and making this festival a blowout that showcases some of the best music from both our backyards and around the world."
Information on ticket release dates and music lineups for both days will be announced at a later date.
