The rock-and-roll themed restaurant will open summer 2014
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - The Hard Rock Cafe, which formerly took up space in downtown Minneapolis' Block E, will return to Minnesota during summer 2014 in the Mall of America.
The rock-and-roll themed restaurant will seat 400 guests, feature private event space, free parking, patio seating, a live music stage with capacity for 1,200 guests, two bars, a 750-square foot Rock Shop retail store and an interactive Rock Wall Solo™.
"Hard Rock has been looking forward to returning to the Minneapolis area, and we could not have asked for a better and more widely-known location than in the heart of America's favorite mall," Calum MacPherson, Area Vice President of Cafe Operations (North America) for Hard Rock International stated in a news release. "The new Hard Rock Cafe will feature our updated design features and our world-famous authentic, scratch-based cuisine, and we hope Minnesotans will join us to celebrate the opening of our newest location."
Hard Rock Cafe closed the doors to the downtown Minneapolis location in 2011.
