Michael Jace has been charged in the shooting death of his wife, April.
CNN reports that the actor, 48, who starred in FX series The Shield, and who had roles in Southland and NYPD Blue, was charged Tuesday. He was booked on a homocide charge.
April Jace, 40, was found shot to death in her south Los Angeles home by police called there to investigate a shooting, Los Angeles Police Detective Lyman Doster told CNN.
The Los Angeles Times reports that police arrived at the couple's home in the Hyde Park neighborhood around 8:30 p.m. Monday.
TMZ says Jace was at home alone when his wife arrived with their two sons. He called 911 to report the death.
Detective Sal LaBarbera told KNBC-TV that Michael Jace is a suspect and that police are not looking for other suspects.
