ROSEMOUNT, Minn. -- A group of power lifters hosted an event to benefit HopeKids on Saturday in Rosemount.
The 105 lifters were from Sanctioned United Powerlifting Association. They came together Saturday to compete in "Relentless" in which the winner is not who can lift the most, but who can raise the most.
Money raised will go to benefit HopeKids, an organization that provides ongoing events, activities and a powerful, unique community for families who have a child with cancer or some other life-threatening medical condition. The organization helps to surround the children and their families with the message that hope can be a powerful medicine.
"Relentless" will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Valley Christian Church.
