GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - A traveling exhibition, "Ladies and Gentlemen, the Beatles," opened Thursday at the Mall of America in the Midwest Music Museum.
The show was curated by the Los Angeles-based GRAMMY Museum.
On display are original Beatles materials including memorabilia, records, photographs, tour artifacts, videos and more.
Erin Mathe and Kurt Benjamin with the "Bob Bonis Archive" joined KARE 11 News @ 4 with more details.
What is unique to the Mall of America exhibit location and for the first time on display are exclusive on-stage photos taken of the Beatles during their only Minnesota concert in 1965. Tour manager and accomplished photographer, Bob Bonis, took 38 candid shots of the Beatles that night, but they were tucked away for nearly 50 years, until they were discovered by his family after his death.
