MINNEAPOLIS - The Orpheum Theatre in downtown Minneapolis has undergone many renovations and repairs over the years including a complete restoration in 1993.
Now it is time to replace the historic seats. The seats will be replaced with a modern replica. They are starting on the main floor and will eventually replace the balcony seats.
Patrons of the Orpheum can "buy" a new seat and put their name or someone else's name on it. The names will appear on a plaque on each seat and in the lobby. You can get more information on the Hennepin Theatre Trust website.
