1. Drop the Mic!

Head to the Cowles Center for the annual Drop the Mic! hip hop and world dance showcase presented by Curio Dance. Choreographers will weave styles like breakdancing, Cuban, Chinese martial arts, Native American Eagle and more into a show that will transport to you to other worlds. 2. Northern Spark
June 14 - 9 p.m.
Minneapolis will transform into a city of interactive art installations on Saturday night through early Sunday morning for the annual Northern Spark arts festival. Tens of thousands will meander along the riverfront and throughout the city to take in large video projections, performances, installations and more in spaces like parks, underneath bridges, green spaces and more. 3. The BoneYard Hoedown

Uptown's newest hot spot, The BoneYard, will be hosting their inaugural two-day hoedown music event on Saturday and Sunday featuring a lineup of local bands, hog roast, beer garden and more. 4. Stone Arch Bridge Festival
June 13 - 15
Art, music, food and more converge along the Minneapolis riverfront for three days during the annual Stone Arch Bridge Festival. Hundreds of local and national vendors will be on display and acts like The Cactus Blossoms, Sean Anonymous, Frankie Lee and more will perform one of three stages. 5. Edina Music In the Park
June 13 - 6 p.m.
The City of Edina Arts & Culture Commission kicks off several concerts this summer as part of a new series called Music in the Park. 6. The Okee Dokee Brothers

Grammy award winning duo The Okee Dokee Brothers will be heading to the Minnesota Zoo's Weesner Family Amphitheater on Sunday for an outdoor concert fit for the whole family. The American roots singers from Minneapolis celebrate the outdoors and encourage children and their families to experience nature.
