Macy's Passport Presents Glamorama fashion show and musical production featuring Jason Derulo will take place at the State Theatre on Friday, August 1st at 8PM followed by an over-the-top after party at Macy's Downtown Minneapolis. Macy's Culinary Council Chef Michelle Bernstein is also providing several specialty menu items for the Glamorama after party. Macy's Glamorama benefits Children's Cancer Research Fund.
Uptown Art Fair
The 51st Annual Uptown Art Fair runs Friday, Aug.1, from 12-8 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 2, from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 3, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on West Lake Street and Hennepin Avenue South, and The Mall, in Uptown, Minneapolis.
During the weekend of the Uptown Art Fair, Metro Transit is offering free rides through its ArtPass. Attendees can ride free on Saturday and Sunday between the Uptown Art Fair, Loring Park Art Festival and the Powderhorn Art Fair by simply printing out the ArtPass at www.metrotransit.org/artpass. Fairgoers can take the bus or METRO lines from their homes or nearby Park & Ride lots (does not include Northstar).

Voted City Pages best outdoor best show of 2013, Krastskiva which means crayfish party in Swedish is back for the 3rd year. Held on the street outside Minneapolis Bachelor Farmer restaurant, the festival will feature musical entertainment by Haley Bonar. Fulton Brewery beers and marvel bar cocktails will be some of the libations.

The festival has moved to a new location, Island Lake Park in Shoreview. Attractions include cultural exhibits, musicians, dancers, spaghetti eating contest, a Catholic mass, art, and a bocce ball contest!
