GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. – Some of Minnesota's best music talent is performing at HazelFest, an outdoor community music festival to celebrate recovery from addiction. Music legends The Jayhawks are headlining the all-day event to celebrate life and recovery from addiction.
Johnny Solomon, singer-songwriter of the band Communist Daughter, and John Driscoll, Vice President of the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation's Midwest Region, came by KARE Saturday to discuss the event.
In addition to The Jayhawks, also performing will be Davina and The Vagabonds, Communist Daughter, and Trapper Schoepp and The Shades. The festival will have recovery speakers, food trucks, a petting zoo, face painting and other family activities.
