Whether you like her or not, it's hard to deny that Miley Cyrus is the center of pop culture right now. From her award show appearances to her crazy outfits or constant flashing of her tongue, people can't seem to help talking about what she's up to.

The former Disney princess made a stop in at the Xcel Energy Center for her Bangerz Tour and if you couldn't make the show, or are just curious about what happened, here are five things to catch you up to speed:

1. Grand entrance. You couldn't describe a more fitting way for Miley to first appear on stage: A giant Miley face was projected on a screen when her mouth began to slowly open. Then, out came a giant, red tongue that was also a slide. And down came Miley – right on the tongue she has made so famous.

2. Twerking. Playing up another move she's become known for, Miley made sure to show off her twerking skills throughout the entire show. She even had a twerk squad of dancers that performed with her and during interludes. Miley twerked and grinded on a car, a giant inflatable wolf, her dancers and just about everything around her.

3. Kiss cam. While serenading the crowd to her slow jam, "Adore You," Miley encouraged everyone to make out with the people next to them. Those close to the stage did as they were told and were projected onto a giant kiss cam with Miley giving commentary and reaction between verses. Let's just say what we saw on the screen is not what you might be used to seeing at a Wild game.

4. Floating hot dog. Artists flying over the audience during a performance certainly isn't anything new and almost expected now with big arena shows. And Miley stuck to that trend but gave it her own twist by climbing aboard a giant hot dog and telling the crowd to scream to make the hot dog go higher in the air.

5. Live vocals. While Miley's show was no doubt about the spectacle and shock factor, she also made sure to show off her singing chops. While on a smaller stage in the back of the arena, Miley sang stripped down versions of Dolly Parton's "Jolene," Outkast's "Hey Ya," Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness" and Bob Dylan's "It Ain't Me Babe." It was a definite change of pace from the over-the-top antics of the rest of the show. And for the first encore, Miley performed her smash "Wrecking Ball" alone on stage with just a spotlight. All were a reminder that while she is pop music's current wild child, the girl can also sing.
