GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn -- Mark Crane, Executive Chef, Colette Bar & Bistro, Sofitel Minneapolis shared a recipe for Pumpkin Ganache.

Ingredients
5 1/4 ounces good white chocolate
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon corn syrup
1/4 cup cold heavy cream
1/3 cup pumpkin puree
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions
1. Melt white chocolate and butter over double boiler
2. Add corn syrup and blend well
3. Next, slowly add in the heavy cream and continue blending
4. Add in the pumpkin puree, salt and cinnamon and mix well
5. Lastly, chill before serving

Serving
The ganache makes 6-8 servings. This ganache is very versatile and can be used as filling in macaroons, cakes, candies or truffles. It also works great as an icing for cookies.

Beginning at 10 a.m. Sofitel's Thanksgiving Grand Buffet will feature holiday favorites such as carved turkey served with gravy, cranberry relish, corn bread stuffing and mashed potatoes. Also featured will be an assortment of live food stations, a fresh seafood display, pasta cooked "a la minute", famous Sofitel eggs Benedict, beef bourguignon, a dessert display and much more! A selection of juices, hot drinks, house wines, Mimosas and Bloody Marys will also be available.

Later that evening Colette Bar & Bistro will be hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner Special from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Executive Chef Mark Crane will put a unique twist on traditional Thanksgiving fare which will include a complete turkey dinner served with everyone's favorite side dishes and freshly baked baguettes.
