GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - An estimated three million women in the U.S. are living with breast cancer, and approximately 3,700 women in Minnesota will be diagnosed this year.
To empower local women and men affected by breast cancer to make informed critical decisions about treatment, survivorship and support, the Minnesota-based Breast Cancer Awareness Association (BCAA) is hosting the "Breast Party in Town" fundraiser on Friday, Feb. 28 at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Minneapolis. Money raised from the event will support the BCAA's 13th annual Living with Breast Cancer education conference scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 at the Saint Paul RiverCentre.
This year's fundraiser will feature a dinner, silent auction, live music and much more.
