ST. PAUL, Minn.- St. Thomas Academy goalie David Zevnik was one of the big reasons why the Cadets won the Class A State Hockey championship.

Zevnik made 20 saves in a 5-1 victory over Hermantown on Saturday night. It was the only goal the junior gave up all weekend.

In all, Zevnik stopped 55 shots in three victories as the Cadets won the state hockey title for the second straight season and their fourth title in the last seven years.

Zevnik finished the season with a 17-4-1 record. He was named to the Class-A All-Tournament team.
