SAINT PAUL, Minn. -- Join the Gibbs Museum for amorning ofvolunteeringat tje Garden Get-Away event onon Saturday, June 16 from 10 a.m. -Noon inFalcon Heights.
The Garden Get-Away at Gibbs Museum will have garden projects for everyone in the family ages 3 and up including weeding, hauling, watering and deadheading.Orchard and garden specialists will be on hand whichto teach volunteersabout Minnesota gardening as well. If the children get bored withgardening, there are a variety of activities to keep them busy.

Gibbs Museumof Pioneer and Dakota Life interprets mid-1800s pioneer and Dakota Indian life, all in the beautiful setting of the Gibbs farm and restored prairie areas.
For Dakota and early Minnesota pioneers, living off the land was at the core of everyday existence. Gibbs Museum has a heritage apple orchard, pioneer and Dakota crop gardens, a native Minnesota medicine garden, house gardens as well as a restored prairies. All of which can be visited at the Gibbs Museum of Pioneer and Dakota Life.
