CRYSTAL, Minn. - An arrest has been madeafter a parent noticed an adult man trying to be Facebook friends with a group of younger boys within the Crystal Little League, according to league safety officials.

On Monday, one of the parents contacted the league's safety officer afterher son was contacted by the man. The boy was one of several players to have been contacted via Facebook by the man, safety officials said.

Crystal police say a sting was held anda manwas taken into custody this week. They said he couldface charges asearlyas Friday.

After notifying police, the Crystal Little League also passed along the warning to other area little league organizations.

An email was sent out by the East Tonka Little League to all parents in the organization warning them of the risk.

Officials fromthe Crystal Little League and the East Tonka Little League have not only thanked police for their hard work on the case, but also wanted to get the word out to concerned parents.

Little league officials are also hoping the arrest will further encourage parents to stay on top of monitoring their children's Facebook accounts.
