ST. PAUL - A late-morning rush hour crash on Interstate 94 in St. Paul has blocked multiple lanes in both directions.
It happened shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday on I-94 eastbound near Prior Avenue South. MnDOT traffic cameras showed at least two vehicles on their roofs.
Three eastbound lanes were immediately blocked off as emergency responders arrived at the scene and began trying to get victims out of the vehicles. Additional response vehicles and state trooper cruisers initially bloocked two westbound lanes of I-94, causing significant backups in both directions.
All lanes on the impacted stretch of -94 near Prior were reopened by 11 a.m.
