FORT JACKSON, S.C.- A veteran from North Branch missing for one week has been found safe.

On Sunday night, a post onSgt. Robert Larson's missing persons Facebook page said that he waslocated in the woods within a 100 mile radius of North Branch and was headed back to Fort Jackson, South Carolina where he's stationed.

Larson had last been seenat a gas station in Gary, Indiana on October 7th, one day after his wife said he lefttheir home in South Carolina. He had not been seen or heard from since.

Concerned family and friends took to social media in recent days to help get the word out.

Larson suffered atramatic brain injury during a tour in Iraq and still suffers from PTSD.
